Health & Hygiene

Under Health & Hygiene, we aspire to deliver primary health care support through diagnosis and treatments to our communities. Interventions include promoting preventive healthcare, building awareness about hygiene, sanitation, maternal and child health care, setting up medical infrastructure, and instrumenting clean drinking water habits.

Disaster Management

We contribute towards relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction activities as a part of our disaster management intervention. We focus on mitigating the effects of crises created by natural disasters, pandemics, or similar events.

We have partnered with Government and other organizations to provide support, aid, and distribution of essentials among communities during times of crisis.

Enhancing Vocational Skills

In the area of vocational training and skilling, we provide specialized and skill-based training to painters, carpenters, plumbers, and other professionals to enhance their skills, empower them, provide opportunities to secure better employment, and improve their livelihood.

Water

Water is a valuable and scarce resource that we share with our surrounding communities. We have identified water conservation and management as a key area of intervention.

Our focus includes:

  • Reducing overall specific water consumption
  • Reuse and recycling of wastewater within factories and communities surrounding our manufacturing locations
  • Rainwater harvesting in factories and communities
  • Watershed management and community outreach programs

These initiatives include creating capacities for water conservation, educating communities and stakeholders, and undertaking water replenishment projects around manufacturing locations.

The approach includes support and infrastructure at each stage of water conservation, water preservation, water recharge, and wastewater treatment.

Vocational skilling and water conservation will continue to remain key thrust areas of intervention.

Group Subsidiaries

Asian Paints Berger has a strong manufacturing base in the Middle East, with dedicated plants in Dubai, Sohar, and Bahrain. It is also present in Qatar.

Berger is a well-respected brand in the Middle East and has manufacturing operations supporting markets across the region.

Apco Coatings is a subsidiary operating in the South Pacific islands.

Operations serve Fiji, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu under the Apco Coatings brand.

Founded in 1979, SCIB Paints is a reputed name and ranks amongst the leading paint companies in Egypt.

SCIB Paints became part of the group in August 2002.

PPG Asian Paints, earlier known as Asian PPG Industries Pvt Ltd, was established in March 1997.

It is a 50:50 joint venture formed to provide solutions to the paint requirements of automobile manufacturers.

The joint venture brings together strengths in technology, manufacturing, and customer insight.

Asian Paints PPG is a joint venture serving the market for protective coatings, floor coatings, road marking paints, and powder coatings.

Taubmans Paints Fiji became part of the group in September 2003.

Taubmans Paints is a major player in the project sales segment in Fiji and also serves the neighbouring Samoa Islands.

It has manufacturing facilities in Suva, Fiji and Samoa.

Sleek is a kitchen solutions provider and a major player in the organized modern kitchen space.

The business includes manufacturing, selling, and distribution of modular kitchens and kitchen components such as wire baskets, cabinets, appliances, and accessories.

The Sleek portfolio also includes Smart Kitchen solutions and wardrobes.

ESS provides bath fittings and accessories designed around ergonomic and innovative bath concepts.

The product range includes faucets, showers, and engineered accessories designed for modern homes.

Kadisco is one of the leading paint companies in Ethiopia.

The company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of decorative paints, industrial paints, automotive paints, other coatings, and adhesives.

Asian Paints operates in Sri Lanka under the brand name Asian Paints Causeway.

The operation forms part of the group's international presence and serves the Sri Lankan market.
